These fender braces are designed to provide a rigid link between the A-pillar and the front chassis, just before the strut tower area, limiting deflection under braking and cornering loads. Like the role of a strut braces is to stop side to side forces, the fender brace works to eliminate vertical movements. This helps maintain the suspensions geometry and greatly improves steering response. These are made from 4130 chromoly, TIG welded, and powdercoated black. These are a bolt-on design with minor drilling involved. Weight is roughly 2 lbs 12 oz per side (including brackets and mounting hardware)> Sold as a pair (one for each side of the car).
